We originally developed this grind for zoos and big cat sanctuaries, where whole-prey feeding is standard practice. It's now available for dogs and cats at home.

A prey model raw (PMR) style grind made from 45% split rabbit heads and 55% rabbit meat grind. The meat grind includes muscle, bone, and organs such as heart and liver. The split heads contribute skull bone, fur, and connective tissue, with brains removed, and that's what brings this closer to whole-prey feeding than a standard grind. Raised on family farms and minimally processed, with no additives, fillers, grains, or artificial anything.

It's an ideal novel protein for dogs and cats with food sensitivities, allergies to common proteins like beef, chicken, or turkey, or any pet thriving on a species-appropriate raw diet.

Quick Tip for Optimal Digestion:
Rabbit's naturally higher bone-to-meat ratio, combined with the added insoluble fiber from fur, can sometimes lead to drier, harder, or slightly chalky stools, especially during the transition period. This is common and usually resolves quickly as your pet adjusts. To balance if needed, replace 15% to 25% of the meal with boneless rabbit or another lean boneless protein, or add warm water, low-sodium bone broth, or 1 to 2 tsp of plain canned pumpkin per meal to boost moisture. If issues persist or you have concerns, consult your veterinarian.

Is This Right for Your Pet?

Rabbit is a novel protein, which makes it a common choice for pets with sensitivities to beef, chicken, or turkey. The added fur brings this closer to whole-prey feeding than a standard grind.

Prey model raw is not the right fit for every animal. Some pets do better on a BARF-style diet or a balanced commercial raw formula, and fur specifically is well tolerated by many pets and refused or poorly tolerated by others.

Introduce it gradually over 7 to 10 days and watch how your pet responds. If you see persistent loose stool, vomiting, itching, or skin changes, stop feeding and talk to your veterinarian.
