The usual reason people buy this

Rabbit’s naturally high bone content can leave stools dry, hard, or chalky. Replacing 15% to 25% of a whole-grind meal with boneless grind is the standard correction, and it keeps the diet on a single novel protein rather than introducing chicken or beef. It also works on its own for pets that do best off chicken and beef.

FDA vs. USDA: what’s the difference?

Our U.S.-processed rabbit is inspected by the USDA. This Italian import is processed overseas, so it is packed and distributed in the USA under FDA jurisdiction instead, and it is not a USDA-inspected product. The difference is which agency has oversight of the product, based on where it is processed.
